Student digital teams from Sevastopol began work at the all-Russian facility

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Student detachments of Sevastopol began their working summer: the fighters of the student detachments dispersed for labor projects in the city and throughout Russia. This year, the regional department employs university students in seven areas:
  • pedagogical — work in children’s camps in Sevastopol, Crimea and Russia;
  • conductors – employment on the basis of the transport company “Grand Service Express”;
  • archaeological – work as research assistants on the basis of “Tavrichesky Chersonesus”;
  • service — students will work as waiters, bartenders and maids at the best resort complexes on the Black Sea coast;
  • curators of governor’s school labor teams;
  • construction – students will participate in the construction of a kindergarten and school in the Gagarinsky district of the city, as well as in the all-Russian student construction project “Peaceful Atom” in Ozyorsk;
  • for the first time since the existence of the Russian student teams, students will be employed in the digital field.

We are very proud that Sevastopol is the first subject of the Russian Federation in which student digital teams appeared. This year, for the first time, we are employing children in the digital field on the basis of the Mriya Resort & SPA resort complex. The main functionality of the guys is to set up equipment and fix technical problems on the territory of the complex– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the youth affairs department Marina Slonchenko.

As part of the digital direction, about 20 first- and second-year students will be employed; employment will take place in two streams: the first stream has started — seven student workers are already working at Mriya until the end of July, the second stream will work from the beginning of August to the end of September. The work schedule is “two to two”, and the average salary for students is 30 thousand rubles before deduction of personal income tax.

The collective work of our guys from the digital department is especially important because when they are faced with work tasks, they will be able to jointly find new and modern solutions, – emphasizes the deputy chairman of the Public Chamber of Sevastopol, the creator and first commander of the city’s student groups Denis Kondratyev.

In the summer of 2023, members of student digital teams went through an alternative “virgin land” (summer of work), the guys took part in creating a digital platform for the Sevastopol regional branch of the Russian Socialist Society, and also conducted computer literacy lessons for pensioners.

The main mission of Russian student teams is to employ students in professions that are important and in demand in the region and country.

Expectations were very high, but in reality everything turned out to be much better! In two working days I already felt like a full-fledged part of the team and a working member of Mriya. I thought that I would spend the whole day in two or three locations maximum, but I visited many corners of the hotel and enjoyed all the beauty that is there! Only two days have passed, and there are still two months ahead, so the most interesting things are yet to come! – noted second-year student of Sevastopol State University Aziz Reizov.

Let us remind you that in 2024, student brigades celebrate the 65th anniversary of the birth of the movement and the 20th anniversary of the creation of the modern history of student brigades. In honor of these events, more than a hundred events are planned throughout the country, which will bring together over 1 million people. The year will end with an All-Russian rally, which will be held in Moscow in the fall and will bring together more than 12,500 movement participants. Over the 65 years of the movement’s existence, more than 20 million people have attended the school of student groups. These are students and schoolchildren who gained their first work experience, made new acquaintances and made a significant contribution to the development of the country.
