Student polyclinic opened at KFU

The student polyclinic began work at the Crimean Federal University. In it, university students can get a free consultation with a doctor, undergo the necessary studies and preventive examinations. At the moment, about 534 students are attached to the clinic. In total, it is planned to attach more than 00 thousand.

The pandemic period has shown us that we must take responsibility for the well-being and prevention of the health of students and employees. Large organizations can afford to do this, and at the university it is also the point of introduction of new technologies. We are talking about a digital health passport. This is one of the first innovations, — said the rector of the Crimean Federal University Andrey Falaleev.

According to him, foreign students will also be able to use the services of the polyclinic, since the admission will be carried out in two languages ​​(Russian and English). And for all students studying in medical fields, the clinic will become a place of practice.

Students will be admitted to the polyclinic by doctors 17 of medical specialties, including a general practitioner, an ophthalmologist, an ENT doctor, surgeon, neurologist, obstetrician-gynecologist, gastroenterologist, urologist, dermatovenereologist, doctors of ultrasound and functional diagnostics and others.

The polyclinic has a five-day working hours from 8: 00 to 18: hours. Our feature is the introduction of electronic document management and electronic queue. The object will become a «friendly clinic». We will minimize the waiting time for the patient in the queue and provide comfortable conditions for the reception , — says Oksana Krzub, Deputy Head Physician of the Polyclinic for the Medical Department of KFU.

According to her, if necessary, doctors of the polyclinic will refer patients to other medical organizations for a highly specialized examination and organization of inpatient treatment free of charge.
