Student teams of Crimea collected more than 60 thousand rubles for social needs on Youth Day

On June 29, Youth Day, fighters of student groups of the Republic of Crimea took an active part in the All-Russian action “Shock Labor Day”. This action is one of the important initiatives in which members of student teams demonstrate high labor achievements on one of the days of the working semester. Salaries for this shift are transferred to the Russian Student Teams Fund (RSO) and are used to implement social initiatives and support people who find themselves in difficult life situations.

At the moment, student teams of the Republic of Crimea have collected more than 62,400 rubles. The action «Day of Shock Labor» among student teams of Crimea will be held throughout the summer labor semester. But the first stage is traditionally tied to Youth Day.

Tens of thousands of students across Russia participate in the “Shock Labor Day” campaign, confirming their readiness not only to develop themselves academically, but also to be active citizens capable of contributing to the development of society. This action becomes a kind of bridge between the student community and the needs of society, allowing young people to show their talents, skills and energy to solve real social problems, — says the commander of the student teaching squad “Lira” Tatyana Podolskaya.
