Students from Melitopol arrived in Sevastopol today. The guys will stay in the Hero City for two days and celebrate National Unity Day here. In the morning, the delegation took part in a series of patriotic events called «Pride Post, Memory Post, Honor Post». A quiz was held for students from Melitopol, they were shown the Center for Military-Patriotic Education, as well as schoolchildren entering Post No. 1.
Sevastopol continues to provide assistance to sponsored Melitopol. And in addition to infrastructure work, it is important to have cultural ties and communication with young people from the Zaporozhye region, who for a significant part of their conscious life were brought up in conditions of insane Russophobia and harsh anti-Russian propaganda. It was impossible for many to go to Russia, including Crimea and Sevastopol, to make sure that we do not have a wild outback, but modern comfortable cities in which history and memory are preserved. We are changing the stereotypes of young compatriots. Now, on the eve of National Unity Day, technical school students from Melitopol are invited to Sevastopol, they will be able to see our city with their own eyes, get acquainted with its history and modernity and tell their peers about their impressions. We are always glad to have such friendly meetings. In the afternoon, the guests of Sevastopol wrote the Great Ethnographic Dictation, where they answered questions about the traditions, culture and history of the peoples of Russia.
We came with the guys with whom we are together in the student council. These are people who actively take part in the life of the college, and today we are here because we are interested in participating in such events. Today we saw Nakhimov Square — a square with a great history. We saw memorial plates with the names of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. We all really like it, I want to see what colleges and universities are here so that I can come here to study , says Miroslava from Melitopol.
At the end of the day, a delegation from Melitopol will visit the Tauric Chersonese Museum-Reserve. The children will be given an excursion where they will tell about the history of the ancient city. Tomorrow, November 4, students will take part in events dedicated to the National Unity Day.
Recall that in the summer more than 500 children from Melitopol and the Melitopol region came to Sevastopol for recreation, recreation and excursions. The city was also visited by children from the sponsored Starobelsk of the Lugansk People’s Republic.
