Russian student teams (RSO), on the basis of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, are the operator for the financial support of the implementation of activities to provide grants for training in basic vocational training programs on a free basis for participants in student teams in the professions of workers, positions of employees necessary to carry out labor activities as part of the teams.
The vocational training program for student teams allows students to get a profession and put their knowledge into practice in the summer. In order to obtain the right to teach students, educational organizations participate in a competitive selection. So, according to the results of the competitive selection in 2023, 50 students of the Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky, who are trained in the specialty «Tractor driver-machinist of category «C», continue to actively deepen their knowledge and skills in the field of agricultural machinery. Training contributes to reducing the shortage of machine operators. As part of the training, students got acquainted with the classification of tractors, the general arrangement of this equipment, engines and their systems, and also studied the topic of chassis and steering. Practical exercises allowed them to examine in more detail the internal content of the engine and all systems. An important step was familiarization with the work on the simulator, which helped students to better imagine themselves behind the wheel of a tractor.— noted in the press service of the Crimean regional branch of the IOOO «Russian Student Teams».
One of the important aspects of training, experts say, was to familiarize students with working on a tractor. This helped them to more realistically learn how to deal with different situations on the pitch. In addition, students received lectures on first aid, realizing that this skill is also important in agricultural work, where they will interact not only with a tractor, but also with other large agricultural equipment.
Nikolai Oleshko, 1st year student of the Faculty of Agronomy, Landscape Gardening and Forestry, shared his impressions:
The training is quite interesting, here they explain to us the structure of an agricultural machine, starting with gears, crankshaft and ending with the tractor itself and trailed units. In practical classes, we train driving skills both without equipment and with various agricultural units. For me, as a future agronomist, this training will be a big plus in future employment, because diversified development leads to better results and positions!
The progress of students is confirmed by the successful passing of internal exams, they demonstrated their knowledge, skills and abilities gained in the learning process. Now students are preparing for the final exam, which will be held with the participation of Gostekhnadzor experts. This is an important step in their professional training, which will confirm their competence and readiness for independent work on a tractor.
Training under the program «Tractor driver-machinist of category «C»» will allow students to acquire not only the necessary theoretical knowledge, but also practical skills that will be useful in their future professional activities.
