Students of Sevastopol passed the «Route of Survival», prepared by employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry and Patriot Park
CrimeaPRESS reports:
October, students of Sevastopol colleges passed the «Route of Survival». The competition under this name was organized by employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the Patriot Park of the Southern Military District. 8 teams fought for the victory. A series of tests awaited young men and women, tempering the will, training sports skills and the ability to act in emergency situations.
Thus, the participants had to overcome the obstacle course, make a combat deployment and hit targets from a fire barrel, put on protective suits, and also provide first aid to conditional victims. The last stage, the medical stage, became, according to the guys, the most unexpected and exciting. The fact is that within its framework the legend was played out as realistically as possible: as a result of the collapse of the building structures, several people were injured at once. The “victims” not only desperately called for help, but also looked according to the plan: with the help of theatrical makeup and special equipment, injuries were simulated. However, the teams were not at a loss — using the contents of the provided first-aid kits, they promptly and correctly carried out the rescue. The stage was carried out by Ekaterina Polikarpova, an anesthesiologist-resuscitator and a certified lifeguard , the press service of the EMERCOM of Russia in Sevastopol notes.
