On the territory of the park of culture and recreation «Patriot» 110 students of the Sevastopol College of Information Technologies and Industry became participants in the military-patriotic program «School of Future Commanders». The event is held in the format of master classes in drill, fire, naval training, sports all-around, first aid, protection against weapons of mass destruction and many others. After building, the students received route sheets — they have all the locations that need to be passed.
The additional educational program «School of Future Commanders» is being held today, on the Day of Memory and Sorrow, for students of the Sevastopol College of Information Technologies and Industry. The program is aimed at developing children’s knowledge and primary skills in matters of military, tourist and medical training, and a survival school. Our task is also to convey to the children how important it is to remember and honor the feat of our ancestors, not to forget our history. Active servicemen, cadets of the PS Nakhimov Black Sea Higher Naval School, representatives of sports, medical and public organizations became mentors for the guys.
During my school years, I was the commander of the Yunarmiya detachment at the Cossack Bay educational center, I also went to the Artek camp to replace the School of Future Commanders, and often participated in such events. Today I was invited as an instructor to train the younger generation to show how to properly handle a weapon, what it takes to disassemble and assemble an assault rifle, to demonstrate how a magazine for a Kalashnikov assault rifle is properly equipped. Everyone goes through this stage very well, some even compete for time in assembling and disassembling the machine, one of the guys set a record of 16 seconds— says the cadet of the Black Sea Higher Naval School named after PS Nakhimov Arseniy Lyasnikov.
A total of 12 training points are presented, each is given 20 minutes to complete.
I have already passed three stages, most of all I liked sports tourism. It was very interesting, I was given climbing equipment, I climbed a hill, but it was not scary. I also participated in all-around sports, it was hard, because I had to run, and quickly go through a thin pipe, crawl along the ground. But the guys and I coped with everything, we are glad to be participants in this event— Kirill Zlobin, a student of the Sevastopol College of Information Technologies and Industry, notes.
At the end of the event, the field kitchen was waiting for the children.
Recall that the program «School of Future Commanders» was developed in 2017 and is aimed at students and schoolchildren of Sevastopol aged 12 to 20 years.
