On April 22 and 29, citywide subbotniks will be held in Sevastopol.
Currently, the draft resolution of the Government of Sevastopol «On holding a citywide month of cleanliness, citywide days of cleanliness (subbotniks) in the city of Sevastopol» is being prepared for consideration at a meeting of the Government of Sevastopol. It is planned to put in order 35 citywide territories, to involve 45 state authorities. Anyone can take part, — quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol and. O. The cleanup, scheduled for April 22, will be held as part of the regional project «Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment» of the national project «Housing and Urban Environment», initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Participants of the event will be additionally informed about the online voting for objects for improvement. This year, citizens are offered a choice of 33 public spaces in each of the municipalities. It is planned to put in order next year 10 of them. Every resident of Sevastopol has the opportunity to make the city more comfortable by taking part in the online voting, which will be held from April 15 to May 31 on the portal https://92.gorodsreda.ru.
The second subbotnik, which is scheduled for April 29, will be dedicated to the Victory Day. On the eve of May 9, it is planned to put in order the monuments, memorials, alleys of glory and military graves of the times of the Great Patriotic War.
Every year more than six thousand people take part in the subbotniks in Sevastopol.
