The crews of the diesel-electric submarines of the Black Sea Fleet «Stary Oskol» and «Rostov-on-Don» performed training missile firing at sea and ground targets.
In one of the sea ranges in the Black Sea, submariners worked out an algorithm of actions when launching a missile attack on enemy surface ships in cooperation with ground-based means of surface situation illumination, as well as on coastal facilities with the actual use of submarine missile weapons— the press service of the Southern Military District reports.
Rocket firing was carried out in accordance with the combat training plan for the fleet forces during the summer training period.
