Subsidies to Crimean farmers for the development of viticulture exceeded 736 million rubles

Subsidies for the development of the viticulture industry in the Republic of Crimea, which include planting young vineyards and working with fruit-bearing ones, amounted to more than 736 million rubles in 2024, reported TASS in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic.

In 2024, funding in the amount of 736.797 million rubles was allocated for the development of the viticulture and winemaking industry. for young vineyards (for planting and trellis construction) and for vineyards in fruit-bearing age (for the purchase of machinery and equipment). To date, the amount has been disbursed in full.— reported the regional Ministry of Agriculture.

The ministry noted that thanks to state support measures through the annual renewal of vineyards, it was gradually possible to reduce the proportion of unproductive vineyards.

According to Crimean Statistics, the gross grape harvest for the 2023 harvest amounted to 115.22 thousand tons. According to operational information from the administrations of cities and regions of the Republic of Crimea, 1.36 thousand tons of table grapes were harvested from an area of ​​0.54 thousand hectares, and 89.9 thousand tons of technical grapes were harvested from an area of ​​14.47 thousand hectares. The 2024 grape harvest began in the second ten days of August and is planned to be completed in December.
