Sudak school received art objects from Tavrida as a gift

CrimeaPRESS reports:

On June 1, on Children’s Day, residents of the art cluster «Tavrida» (a project from Rosmolodezh) presented a gift to students of the Sudak school No. 4. 10 art objects — figures of endangered and already extinct species of animals will now decorate the hall of the educational institution and will inspire schoolchildren to study ecology.

The day before, students of school No. 4 in the city of Sudak turned to the Tavrida art cluster with the initiative to join the Tavrida.ART team and become part of a large creative family. Residents appreciated this idea and visited schoolchildren on Children’s Day. The concert was presented as a gift. Asya Zykova, Galya Petrikina, Dasha Maltseva and Nika Dubik performed songs from their repertoire, and the guys held them, singing and dancing along with the artists, — noted in the press service of the art cluster.

Another gift from Tavrida is art objects from the collection “The Line of Responsibility: from Red to Black”, dedicated to the disappearance of Red Book animals.

We chose this gift not by chance.— says the head of the art park «Tavrida.ART» Maria-Nicole Selivanova. The guys at school No. 4 are interested in ecology, actively participate in keeping their hometown clean, for example, they collect plastic covers, draw eco-posters. In support of their initiatives and for inspiration, we decided to show that ecology can be art, and ordinary household items can be turned into art objects.

The territory of school No. 4 was decorated with 10 figures of animals that are on the verge of extinction or have already disappeared. Among them are the Far Eastern leopard, the jungle toad, the killer whale, the mandarin duck, the Caspian seal, the saiga, the panda, the irbis, the Przewalski’s horse and the Dodo bird (Mauritian dodo). The art objects were made by Pavel Bibishev, a resident of Tavrida, with the support of the Russian Ecological Operator. Each figure is assembled from decommissioned school keyboards and computer parts.

In May 2023, the Edge of Responsibility: From Red to Black collection was presented in St. Petersburg at the 10th Nevsky International Environmental Congress.
