Summer schools for young humanitarians are being held in Crimea with the support of the Meganom Academy

From July to August 2024, the Simferopol and Crimean Diocese is holding four Summer Schools for Young Humanitarians in Foros. The program is supported by the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries, the Crimean Federal University, the Sevastopol State University, and regional branches of the Russian Knowledge Society in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

Participants of the Summer Schools for Young Humanitarians are senior undergraduate and graduate students, postgraduate students, young scientists and teachers of higher education institutions from Crimea, Sevastopol, the Lugansk People’s Republic, the Donetsk People’s Republic, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions. On July 23–24, at the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries, young creators listened to lectures on the topics: «Faith, State and Fatherland as the Main Russian Values ​​in Historical Retrospect» from expert Tatyana Gogunskaya and «Technologies for Constructing a Socio-Political Crisis» from expert Nikolai Kuzmin. In addition, the participants got acquainted with the Tavrida art cluster and took a tour of the Meganom Academy. The guys will also be able to immerse themselves in the meanings and values ​​of the art cluster on August 10–11 and 24–25.

The formats of the program «Summer Schools of Young Humanitarians» contribute to the creation of ideas and knowledge in young people about Russian identity, about the values ​​of Russia and its place among other countries and civilizations. In addition to the main curriculum, the project participants will undergo training in two practical courses: «Project Activities» and «Methodology and Tools of Information Warfare».

The project’s teaching staff included recognized specialists in the humanities and public opinion leaders: professors, doctors and candidates of sciences working in leading universities in Moscow, Crimea, Sevastopol, the LPR and DPR, as well as public and religious figures.

The program includes excursions to the historical and architectural park «New Chersonesos», the art cluster «Tavrida», the territories of the Livadia and Vorontsov palaces, churches and monasteries of the Crimean peninsula.
