Support for the Crimean tourism industry is the topic of conversation between Maxim Reshetnikov and Sergei Aksenov
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Crimea, the acceptance of applications for a federal payment in the amount of 4 minimum wages for each employee has ended. More than 3,000 applications have been submitted, and payment of the subsidy will begin after verification of the documentation by regional authorities. This became known during a meeting between the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov and the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov.
The measure to support the tourism industry of Crimea and Sevastopol is being implemented on behalf of the President of Russia. The Russian government allocated 2.2 billion rubles from the reserve fund to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation to provide subsidies to the Republic of Crimea to support employment in the tourism industry.
The subsidy will be received by those entrepreneurs who have suffered from a decrease in tourist flow in the region due to the geopolitical situation and logistical difficulties. Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs will be accrued 4 minimum wages for each employee, subject to maintaining at least 80% of the staff.
The meeting participants also discussed the possibility of additional measures to support the Crimean tourism business. First of all, this is the development of a program for loading year-round accommodation facilities, including the participation of residents of new constituent entities of the Russian Federation. In addition, it was proposed to consider the possibility of benefits on a number of taxes and fees. The approach in this case will be differentiated, depending on the specific Crimean region. Within a week, these proposals will be processed for decision-making by federal authorities.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Dmitry Vakhrukov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko, Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko, Director of the Department for the Implementation of Regional Investment Programs of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Federation Sergey Karasev, honorary president of OSIG Grant Babasyan.
