Supporters of the criminal subculture will be tried in Crimea. Not for “views”, for misdeeds

In Crimea, a criminal investigation has been completed against three residents of the Bakhchisaray district. Depending on their actions and their role in the criminal group, they are accused of organizing and participating in the activities of an extremist organization, kidnapping with violence, extortion, systematically providing premises for drug use, illegal storage of ammunition and public insult of a government official (clause “a”) , c, d» part 2 of article 126, clause «a» part 2 of article 163, clause «c, d» part 2 of article 163, clause «a, c, d» » Part 2 of Article 163, Part 1 of Article 232, Part 1 of Article 222, Part 1 of Article 319, Part 1 of Article 282. 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The investigative department for the Bakhchisarai district has established that since November 2020, a 30-year-old local resident, who had previously been repeatedly prosecuted, organized a cell of the international movement “Prisoner Criminal Unity”, which, by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated August 17, 2020, was recognized as extremist and its activities prohibited on the territory of the state.
He attracted 21 and 24-year-old acquaintances to participate, with whom they intimidated villagers, extorted money, notified other supporters of the cell about the appearance of law enforcement officers on the territory under their control, collected a “common fund” to support prisoners, promoted criminal traditions, antisocial behavior, prestige committing crimes, hatred, violence against law enforcement officers and the population who do not support the AUE ideology (prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation — ed.), — reported the Investigative Committee.
A lot can be said about the “affairs” of young “scumbags”. Thus, members of an extremist organization kidnapped a 23-year-old young man in the village of Frontovoye. Realizing that the victim had no valuables or money, his accomplices beat him with wooden sticks, loaded him into the trunk of a car and drove him around the Nakhimovsky district of Sevastopol, but the guy managed to escape. Afterwards, the accomplices extorted money in the amount of 600 and 500 thousand rubles from two local residents, and 11 thousand rubles from a 16-year-old boy, which the minor later gave to them.
It was also established that the organizer provided his apartment to members of the criminal group and acquaintances for the systematic use of narcotic drugs.
The criminal activities of supporters of the extremist organization were identified and suppressed during special events by employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol and the Center for Countering Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Republic of Crimea in March 2023.
During searches conducted on the territory of the Bakhchisarai region, ammunition for firearms, telephones with relevant themes and other items indicating the involvement of the detainees in the prison subculture were discovered and confiscated.
The organizer and another active member of the group were given a preventive measure in the form of detention, where they are being held.
The guilt of all defendants is confirmed by complexes of collected evidence. The criminal case has been sent to court for consideration on the merits.
