SVO participants and their family members can enroll in colleges and technical schools in Sevastopol on a budget

In the 2024/2025 academic year, the total number of admission targets is 1,978 places, including 1,730 places for the Sevastopol Department of Education and Science and 248 places for the Department of Health. 3,943 applications for admission have already been submitted, 108 of which are under the quota.
The admissions campaign began on June 20 and will last until August 15. If there are still preferential places after the end of the admissions campaign, the vacancies will be redistributed among other students. Last year, a quota for admission to regional colleges and technical schools was established for SVO participants and their children. In 2024, a total of 196 quota budget places are planned, including 26 correspondence courses— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the Department of Education and Science, Maxim Krivonos.
This year the quota will remain in place for the following categories of citizens:
- citizens who are serving (have served) in units of the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation and who hold special ranks of the police, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the federal fire service of the State Fire Service, rescue military formations or emergency rescue services and formations of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters;
- family members of participants in a special military operation (wives, children, parents, adopted children, stepdaughters and stepsons);
- family members of deceased (deceased) participants of a special military operation;
- persons who are part of the crew of the rescue tugboat SB-739 Rescuer Vasily Bekh and personnel assigned to the said crew, who performed special tasks during a special military operation on June 16, 2022;
- who have entered into a contract to serve in a volunteer formation that assists in the fulfillment of tasks assigned to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Let us remind you that the application can be submitted through the State Services portal, in person when visiting the educational institution, or by registered mail with notification.
List of documents required for admission:
- passport — original and two photocopies;
- educational document – original and two photocopies;
- color photographs 3×4 cm – four pieces;
- documents confirming the benefit or quota.
