Swimming pool in SOK “200th Anniversary of Sevastopol” is promised to be handed over in autumn

The procedure for putting the pool on the balance of the city will begin in September, said the head of the department for youth and sports, Sergei Reznichenko, answering questions from the deputies of the Legislative Assembly.
We plan to balance the swimming pool, administrative building, rehabilitation and rehabilitation center for the work of a sports dispensary in September this year— quotes «Sevastopol newspaper» Sergei Reznichenko.
According to him, the dynamics of construction is positive everywhere, active work is underway. Issues related to providing the pool with equipment have also been resolved. It was previously announced that the long-term construction facility will be put into operation in May-June this year.
The construction of a sports and recreation complex in Zagorodnaya Balka began in January 2020. The contractor then promised to build an indoor 50-meter swimming pool with a diving platform in 2021. Then it turned out that there was not enough money either to complete the construction work or to purchase equipment.
In December 2022, the government of the Russian Federation allocated an additional 67 million rubles for these purposes. The object was promised to be handed over in April 2023.
