Taekwondoists of Crimea took 23 medals at the Caucasus Cup in the Stavropol Territory

In Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Territory, on May 17-19, interregional ITF taekwondo competitions “Caucasus Cup 2024” were held. More than 870 athletes of different age categories from 13 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as from Armenia and Abkhazia took to the tatami.

The Crimean national team was represented by students of the Simferopol sports club «Grom» (coach and director — Oleg Gromov). Our fellow countrymen have 23 medals (6 gold, 4 silver and 13 bronze)— reports «Crimean sport».

The winners of the competition in their categories were Karolina Gromova (8-9 years old, Tula, 12 exercises), Vsevolod Butenko (8-9 years old, Tula), Karolina Kondratyeva (12-13 years old, sparring, over 54 kg), Evgeniy Tutik (14 -17 years old, strength test), Vladislav Nosenko (14-17 years old, tulle, 12 exercises) and Ivan Nikishin (12-13 years old, tulle, 12 exercises).

Silver awards were won by Arina Mulina (10-11 years old, sparring, up to 30 kg), Ilya Panasenko (14-17 years old, strength test and sparring, up to 56 kg) and Irina Beshta (12-13 years old, sparring, up to 50 kg) .
