Targeted voter information campaign launched in Sevastopol

Since August 12, 2024, the Sevastopol City Electoral Commission has launched the InformUIK project. 700 canvassers from among members of precinct election commissions have started to inform and notify voters about the day, time, place, and forms of voting in the elections of deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the city of Sevastopol of the third convocation.

The door-to-door canvassing will be conducted in two stages – from August 12 to 18 and from August 26 to September 1, 2024. The teams of the election commissions will go out on routes on weekdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on weekends and holidays from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. All canvassers have undergone appropriate training, including the provision of basic medical care. Participants of the InformUIK project can be recognized by their branded T-shirts and baseball caps with the logo of the Sevgorizbirkom, name badges, and ID cards.— the press service of the Northern City Electoral Commission reported.

During the Russian presidential elections, 806 canvassers were involved in the InformUIK project in Sevastopol. They visited 152 thousand apartments and houses (99% of the total number of households) and informed 242,134 voters (72% of the total number of voters).

Elections of deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the city of Sevastopol of the third convocation will be held on September 6-8, 2024.
