On Sunday, April 16, Orthodox believers will celebrate the Bright Resurrection of Christ. By tradition, St. Vladimir Cathedral and the museum-reserve will host festive events and the Easter Art Alley family festival, organized jointly with the My History Foundation.
Young guests will be able to take part in master classes on making soft toys, handicrafts made of wood and bast, modeling from Diveyevo clay and on a potter’s wheel, creating themed magnets and stone mosaics, weaving bracelets from beads and painting gingerbread. It will be possible to feel the atmosphere of the holiday and spend time with your family from 10:00 in the Byzantine courtyard of the museum-reserve at the concert “Bright Resurrection of Christ”. The performance will be held with the participation of the Honored Collective of Folk Art «Rus», the Exemplary Folk Song Ensemble «Kalinka» and the Folk Ensemble «Play, Accordion». Entrance for visitors is free! — noted in the press service of the museum-reserve.
Please note that during the Easter services in Sevastopol, traffic will be limited. From 20:30 on April 15 until the end of Easter services on April 16 on the street. Ancient, st. Eroshenko and st. Dmitry Ulyanov, the movement of all types of vehicles will be restricted, except for public transport, vehicles belonging to persons living in the restricted zone, and vehicles of emergency special services.
Also, during the festive events, transportation on trolleybus routes No. 7, 9, 10, 12 and bus routes No. 3 and 103 will be carried out from 21:00 April 15 to 06:00 April 16. From 21:00 on April 15 until the end of the night Easter service in St. Vladimir’s Cathedral on the territory of the Tauric Chersonesos Museum-Reserve, from the TsUM stop point in the direction of the city, free transportation of citizens to Chersonesos Square will be organized.
