Tauride Chersonesos invites guests of golden age to a holiday and a painting master class

On October 1, the International Day of Older Persons, a “Day of Kindness and Respect” will be organized at the Tauride Chersonese Museum-Reserve. Residents of Sevastopol and guests of the hero city over 60 years old will be able to visit it:

• At 13:00, guests of golden age will be able to attend a thematic excursion and master class “Paints. Autumn. Chersonesos.» They will learn about the masterpieces of Russian painting and the secrets that famous paintings hide, and then they themselves will briefly become artists. Participants in the master class will write sketches with views of the ancient city and will be able to speculate about the role of spiritual and cultural values ​​in human life, and they will be inspired by the colors of autumn Chersonese.
• At 15:00 guests will attend a free concert “…This is more than music” by the pop and brass band of the Folk Art Center. Professional musicians and solo vocalists will perform at the Ancient Theater of Chersonesus. They will perform popular classical, marching and dance works, retro compositions, melodies from popular films and much more.
