«Tavrida.ART» on the Great Crimean Trail: the art cluster is now part of the united tourist route in Crimea

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The art cluster “Tavrida” was included in the route of the Great Crimean Trail, the improvement of which the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea began on Tourism Day, September 27. «Tavrida.ART» became part of the excursion and ecological walking route «Mysterious Meganom» — the first stage of the transformation of tourist trails.

The walking route “Mysterious Meganom” connects Solnechnaya Dolina with Sudak. Among the attractions through which it passes are Cape Meganom and the Meganom lighthouse, Shark Bay and Kapsel Bay, Mount Kalisa-Kaya and others. There is also an art cluster “Tavrida” on this route.

The improvement of the first trail is planned to be completed at the end of October. By the end of the year, a total of four trails with a length of more than 750 km will be transformed. They will pass through the territories of the urban districts of Sudak, Feodosia and the Kirov region.

Ecological walking tourism, as a trend in modern tourism, is increasingly in demand among guests and residents of Crimea. Its development is associated with the improvement and creation of the necessary infrastructure, including in specially protected natural areas, naturally, in compliance with all norms of environmental legislation— the press service of the art cluster quotes the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko.

The Great Crimean Trail (GCT) will unite hundreds of tourist routes into a single route 750 kilometers long and will stretch from the westernmost to the easternmost point of the peninsula. The plans are to include existing and new routes, the journey along which will take up to a week.

The trail will pass through seven municipal districts and six urban districts, more than 20 specially protected natural areas and will consist of segments of about 15-25 km. It will be possible to complete each stage during daylight hours, while the route itself will allow you to compose an integral journey of a thematic nature from several sections. The large-scale project will unite more than 3 thousand tourist sites located along the route and in its immediate vicinity.
