«Tavrida.ART» opens a new era of contemporary poetry about real people and stories
On August 18, within the framework of the Tavrida.ART Festival of Young Art, a concert of the Real project was held, at which the audience got acquainted with modern Russian poetry and an author’s song. Works about current events taking place in the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions sounded from the stage. The concert was attended by the Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenko.
The audience of the concert found themselves in an impromptu library, where each piece they read was saturated with real stories of real people, their simple joys and sorrows, hopes and destinies shared by all the people of our vast country.
Eleven singer-songwriters in their poems and songs turned to current events taking place in Russia. Anton Shagin, Mark Leshkevich, Tatyana Koptelova, Dmitry Larionov, Roman Sorokin, Alexander Antipov, Sofia Yudina, Elizaveta Malysheva, Kamiliya Latypova, Pavel Chertok, Anastasia Shapoval shared their creativity. They were supported by musicians-residents of the Tavrida art cluster: Sergey Nikhaenko, Vladimir Babenko, Vasily Pasechnik, Artem Azarov (Theme Cuba) and Ksenia Lebedeva (LEBEDEVA).
As part of the project, such well-known artists as Oleg Gazmanov, Vladimir Mashkov, residents of the Tavrida art cluster, the GRINKEVICH musical group, and the youngest of the artists, singer Elizaveta Marynich, also performed. The concert was also attended by a poet-participant of the SVO, the winners of the casting of the project as part of the educational race «Only in Russia» and the winners of the «Context» contest.
The Real project was launched on February 24, when six videos were released, in which invited artists and public figures read poems about events taking place in the new regions of Russia and Belgorod. On March 18, on the day of the reunification of Crimea with Russia, in the building of the Russian State Library in Moscow, poems were heard by the voices of their authors and guest artists: Vladimir Mashkov, Anton Shagin, Anna Revyakina and others.
The event is held as part of the Festival of Performing Arts, one of the five parts of the Tavrida.ART Festival program. Moscow theaters will present a modern interpretation of the production drama «Steelworkers» («Theater of Labor»), they will play the play «Ruslan and Lyudmila» (Theatre «Trickster»), the tandem of ANO «Theatre Technologies» and the SADKOVAIZGDOVA group from St. Petersburg will show the multimedia pantomime show «Carousel «. Five groups of street theaters from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Gatchina and Samara will stage colorful performances at the Tavrida venues. Together with the residents of the art cluster, young folklorists from all over the country will compete in the performance of ditties in the show competition «Princess Chastushka». Also, within the framework of the “Real” special project, the authors and residents of the art cluster will turn to current events taking place in new regions of Russia in poems and songs.
From August 17 to 21 in the Crimea, in the Kapsel Bay near Sudak, the fifth anniversary festival of young art «Tavrida.ART» (a project from Rosmolodezh) is being held. More than 3,500 artists, writers, musicians, actors, designers, directors, choreographers, event marketing and tourism industry specialists from 89 regions of the country gathered in the heart of the country’s youth and educational resort. Within the framework of the festival, 5 different formats are presented: the festival of performing arts, cinema, music, the Art.Molodist fair, the Science as Art festival. In addition, the opening of the modern exhibition center «ART-EXPO» took place, and a large-scale art procession takes place in an updated quality, popular Russian artists perform on the main stage: SHAMAN, Vanya Dmitrienko, MIA BOYKA, RAMIL, Lesha Svik, ST, Anet Sai, Mitya Fomin and other performers and musical groups. The special guests of the Festival were Grigory Leps and Nikolai Rastorguev.
