Tavrida is organizing a Green Festival, during which Kapsel Bay will be greened
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On October 28 and 29, the Green Festival will be held in the city of Sudak (Republic of Crimea). These days, everyone will be able to take part in landscaping, making their contribution to the green heritage of Crimea. About 400 evergreen cedars and cypresses, as well as several hundred perennial shrubs will become part of the new ecosystem in Kapsel Bay.
In addition, as part of the festival, a “Green Swap” will take place — guests who brought plants with them will be able to donate them to the Meganom Academy Foundation, which is part of the Tavrida art cluster, and in return receive souvenirs and commemorative sets. During the festival, educational master classes and film screenings about the country’s protected areas will be held for young guests. In preparation for the festival, the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries will host a week-long educational intensive “Green Resort: Integrated Development of the Architectural and Landscape Environment of the Coastal Territory.” A large team of specialists — landscape designers, architects, designers, dendrologists, botanists, agronomists, soil scientists, ecologists, agricultural engineers — will create a set of projects for landscaping and landscaping the territory of Kapsel Bay,” noted the press service of the art cluster “Tavrida.ART”.
Also, with the participation of experts in the field of gardening, plant growing and landscape design, an art object “The Protected Corner of Tavrida” will be created as part of the Green Festival.
The organizer of the event is the Tavrida art cluster (a project of Rosmolodezh) with the participation of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation and the Roszapovedtsentr.
