«Tavriya» won the Super Cup of the Crimean Football Union. For the fourth time

Simferopol club «Tavriya» won the Super Cup of the Crimean Football Union (CFU), defeating «Kyzyltash» from Bakhchisarai in a penalty shootout — 5:4. The meeting took place in Simferopol, reports TASS.
The main time of the match ended with the score 1:1. Artem Zabun scored for Tavriya (17th minute), Redvan Memeshev scored a goal for Kyzyltash (21st minute).
The match began with a minute of silence in memory of those killed in the terrorist attack on March 22 in the Moscow region.
“Tavriya” is the current champion and winner of the KFS Cup, “Kyzyltash” is a finalist of the cup. The Simferopol club won the KFU Super Cup for the fourth time. The Super Cup match was the first of the new football season on the peninsula. The championship starts on April 6.
The Crimean Football Union has a special status of the Union of European Football Associations and was officially registered in July 2015. The first KFS Super Cup was held in 2016, and the winner was the TSK-Tavria club. Sevastopol won the trophy three times, Krymteplitsa won twice. «TSK-Tavria» was renamed «Tavria» in 2023.
