Tax Service of Sevastopol: “family access” in your personal account will help you pay taxes on time
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Specialists of the Sevastopol tax service in the mobile office reminded citizens that they must pay property taxes for 2022 by December 1, 2023.
The mobile office, which is a specially equipped departmental bus, this time stopped near the MFC at the address: st. Vokzalnaya, 10. Department employees actively answered questions from citizens who sought advice and demonstrated to taxpayers the capabilities of the Internet service “Taxpayer’s personal account for individuals” official website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia.
One of the visitors asked a question: how to pay taxes for a minor child if property is registered in his name. Experts explained that in accordance with the current tax legislation, if property is registered in the name of a minor child, then he is recognized as a payer of property taxes.
Tax officials reminded that up-to-date information on charges related to property taxes is posted in the service “Taxpayer’s personal account for individuals”which can be used by parents or legal representatives of the child.
Experts clarified that the legal representatives of minor children are their parents, adoptive parents, and trustees. Thus, in order to obtain information about property objects, as well as about the amounts accrued and paid tax payments, about the presence of overpayments, about tax debts to the budget in relation to your child, as well as in order to receive tax notices in his name for the payment of taxes , parents (legal representatives) can connect on behalf of the child to the Internet service of the Federal Tax Service of Russia “Taxpayer’s personal account for individuals”. In this case, the application must be signed by the parent (adoptive parent, guardian). Parents receive a registration card with the child’s access passwords to the service in person at the tax authority, provided they have their passport and child’s birth certificate. After this, it will be possible to track data on taxes accrued to a minor taxpayer. To do this, the parent needs to add the child to the parent’s Personal Account in the “profile” section through the “family access” tab.
The “family access” tab allows you to use the “add user” option and enter the login (TIN) of the child’s personal account. Then you need to click the “send request” button.
To complete the connection procedure, you must go to the child’s personal account and confirm the sent request by clicking the appropriate button.
Minor children added to “family access” will be excluded from the parent’s account automatically upon reaching adulthood. In addition, exclusion from the list can be carried out at the request of the parties at any time. To do this, you need to click on the “cross” button for the user added to the list and confirm the exclusion.
Tax specialists clarified that parents can also pay taxes for their children in their personal account. The “Taxes” section contains a pop-up list that includes “added” minor children. By switching users in this list, you can pay taxes in any convenient way: by credit card, through online banking, or by printing a receipt.
During the consultations, tax service specialists reminded that in addition to the online service of the Federal Tax Service of Russia “Taxpayer’s personal account for individuals”you can pay taxes through the service «Payment of taxes and duties»as well as in person at any banking institution, the main thing is not to forget to do this no later than December 1.
