Tax Service of Sevastopol: it has become easier for Sevastopol residents to receive a tax notice this year

Very soon, Sevastopol residents will begin receiving tax notices for paying property taxes for 2022. The mailing is planned to be carried out in September-October 2023.

The tax notice can be sent to the taxpayer in electronic form through «Personal account of a taxpayer of an individual» on the website of the Federal Tax Service, by registered mail, as well as through «Personal account on the Unified Portal of state and municipal services».

However, you should be aware that for such a method of obtaining it is necessary that the following conditions are met.

Firstly, the individual had a confirmed account in the unified identification and authentication system on the State Services portal, and secondly, it is necessary to send consent to the connection, signed by an enhanced unqualified electronic signature (to generate which you will need to install the State Key application).

If the total amount of taxes calculated by the tax authority is less than 100 rubles, the tax notice is not sent (it will be sent next year). The exception is cases when, after the expiration of a calendar year, the tax authority loses the right to send a tax notice, due to the fact that three calendar years have elapsed prior to the calendar year in which the tax notice was sent.

The taxpayer also has the right to receive a tax notice on paper. in any separate subdivision of the Department of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for Sevastopol or through the MFC.

The tax notice includes: the amount of property taxes, information about the objects of taxation, the tax base, the timing of payment, as well as the information necessary to transfer the tax as a single tax payment to the budget system of the Russian Federation.

It should be noted that you can pay taxes «in one click» — through Personal Area on the FTS website personal account at EPGU, through the QR code placed on the notification. Also, payment can be made through banking institutions, indicating the payment details or UIN specified in the notification — no later than December 1, 2023.

Currently, it is possible to pay taxes at any convenient time even before receiving a tax notice. To do this, any citizen sends the necessary amount to the Unified Tax Account of an individual.
