Information technologies are designed to simplify communication between the tax service and entrepreneurs, to make it more transparent and accessible. The possibilities of information technology and the Internet are actively used to receive services in electronic form without visiting the tax office.
Regulations of the Certification Center of the Federal Tax Service of Russia the procedure for obtaining a certificate of enhanced qualified electronic signature is provided without a personal visit to the Federal Tax Service (remotely).
In order to reissue (renew) the certificate, the following conditions must be met:
- The user (certificate owner) has previously personally received a certificate in the Federal Tax Service or with the Trustee of the Federal Tax Service;
- Previously received FTS certificate still valid;
- Computer configured to work with an existing certificate;
The procedure for remote re-issuance (renewal) of the FTS certificate is very simple and takes only a few minutes.
When remotely extending the Enhanced Qualified Signature (UKEP), you must enter the taxpayer’s personal account using a certificate previously received from the Federal Tax Service.
What difficulties can an entrepreneur or legal entity face when renewing the UKEP online?
It is no longer possible to do without a personal visit to the tax service to the trustees of the UTs of the FTS if the UKEP is not issued by the Federal Tax Service (Treasury, Central Bank) or its validity period has expired.
It is possible to extend the UKEP only on the carrier for which the FTS certificate was originally received.
It will also not be possible to make a remote extension if the taxpayer has had data changes since the receipt of the FTS certificate.
In Sevastopol, more than 27,000 taxpayers received UKEP at Certification Centers, including about 10,000 this year.
