More than 700 Sevastopol residents visited the Office of the Federal Tax Service in Sevastopol on the Open Day. Department employees reminded Sevastopol residents that property taxes must be paid before December 1, and as of December 2, penalties will begin to accrue on the amount of the debt.

Taxpayers, having visited the operating rooms of the Department, asked questions related to aspects of obtaining benefits on property taxes, about the timing and methods of paying taxes. Tax service specialists issued a duplicate tax notice to everyone, helped to connect to the Internet service of the Federal Tax Service of Russia “Personal Account for Individuals” and provided other information assistance,” noted the press service of the Federal Tax Service of Russia in Sevastopol.

Anna Minkina, head of the department of desk control in the field of property taxation of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, reported that The Department of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the city of Sevastopol has generated about 166 thousand notifications. At the same time, 97 thousand were sent to payers in electronic form through the personal account of an individual taxpayer.

The calculated amount of property taxes for individuals amounted to 518 million rubles, which exceeds the level of last year by 153 million.

To date, taxpayers have already transferred 217 million rubles to the budget of Sevastopol, which is about 42% of the amount of accruals for property taxes.

Deputy Head of the Department for the Provision of Public Services Yulia Kapustina clarified that taxes can be paid “in one click” — through “Personal account for individuals» on the Federal Tax Service website in the section “Payment of taxes and duties”, in your personal account on website of State and municipal services, as well as through the QR code posted on the notification. Payment can also be made through banking institutions by indicating the payment details or UIN posted in the notification.
