Tax Service of Sevastopol: recommendations were given to budgetary organizations for completing the financial year

The Ministry of Finance has specified the deadlines for providing notifications for public sector organizations, and also provided recommendations for conducting reconciliations with the tax authority to ensure the reliability of accounting and reporting data (Letter of the Ministry of Finance dated November 23, 2023 No. 02-07-07/112756).

Taking into account the end of the financial year, the Russian Ministry of Finance has established the following deadlines for submission Notifications on personal income tax public sector organizations:

• for the period from 11/23/2023 to 12/22/2023 — no later than 12/25/2023 (for personal income tax for the period from 11/23/2023 to 12/22/2023), with the transfer of the corresponding payments as unified tax no later than 12/26/2023;
• for the period from 12/23/2023 to 12/31/2023 — no later than 12/29/2023, with the transfer of the corresponding payments as single payment no later than 12/29/2023.

Notices on insurance premiums must be submitted:

• for the period from 11/01/2023 to 11/30/2023 — no later than 12/08/2023, with the transfer of the corresponding payments as unified payment no later than 12/13/2023;
• for the period from 12/01/2023 to 12/31/2023 — no later than 12/25/2023, with the transfer of the corresponding payments as single payment no later than 12/26/2023.

In order to ensure the reliability of budget accounting data, accounting (financial) statements of institutions, preventing overdue debt on tax obligations (timely taking measures to settle identified debts), forming a positive balance of the Unified Tax Service and, accordingly, reducing the time limit for crediting tax payments to the budgets of the budget system of the Russian Federation , the amount of insurance premiums made in 2023 (in December 2023), recipients of budget funds, budgetary (autonomous) institutions need ensure that an annual reconciliation of tax liabilities is carried out no later than December 20, 2023.
