Taxpayers can receive information about the fulfillment of tax obligations by e-mail or in SMS messages. To do this, it is enough to send consent to informing about the presence of debt in the form approved by the order of the Federal Tax Service of Russia dated 06.07.2020 No. ED-7-8/423@. Consent can be submitted from the taxpayer’s Personal Account, brought to the tax office on paper in person, through a representative, sent by registered mail or transmitted electronically via telecommunication channels.

This format of information allows the taxpayer to timely monitor the current state of settlements for the payment of mandatory payments and prevent the accrual of penalties. Dispatch of messages about debts is carried out no more than once a quarter. The taxpayer may at any time opt out of further information by submitting a waiver.
