Tax Service: the level of voluntary declaration is increasing in Sevastopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

This year, thanks to public and individual informing of citizens about the obligation to submit a tax return when receiving income within the prescribed period, the number of individuals who did not declare their income decreased by almost 4 times. In order to learn about tax obligations in a timely manner, it is necessary to regularly check the information and information received in the Internet service “Taxpayer’s Personal Account for Individuals.” Requests from the tax service regarding the need to submit a tax return are posted in the “Messages” section. In the same section you can send a response to the tax authority and attach scanned copies of the necessary documents.

Let us note that not every Russian faces the need to declare income independently. However, in certain life situations it is still necessary to provide a personal income tax return in form 3-NDFL.

As a rule, a declaration must be submitted if a citizen received certain income that is subject to mandatory declaration in accordance with Article 229 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation. According to the current legislation, a citizen must submit a declaration independently no later than April 30 of the year following the reporting year. If the declaration is not submitted, then on the basis of data received from the registration authorities, persons who committed actions falling under the declaration are identified. In this case, citizens can provide explanations and documents proving that there is no obligation to declare income, for example, copies of documents confirming close kinship. The taxpayer has the right to submit to the tax authority explanations and documents, for example, payment documents and property purchase and sale agreements, confirming the costs of its acquisition. Let us remind you that if you have questions related to the declaration of income, you can call +7(8692)77-01-54, +7(8692)77-01-17 or the tax service hotline 8-800-2222- 222.
