Tax service: you can renew your electronic signature remotely
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs who are users of personal accounts can re-issue a qualified electronic signature remotely without a personal visit to the tax office.
In order to reissue (renew) a certificate, the following conditions must be met:
- user (certificate owner) previously personally received a certificate from the Federal Tax Service or from an authorized representative of the Federal Tax Service;
- the previously received Federal Tax Service certificate is still valid;
- the computer is configured to work with the existing certificate;
The procedure for remote re-issuance (extension) of a Federal Tax Service certificate is very simple and takes only a few minutes. To do this, you need to log into the taxpayer’s personal account using the certificate previously received from the tax authority and through the “reissue electronic signature certificate” tab, begin the procedure by signing an application for the issuance of a new certificate of the current UKEP.
What difficulties may an entrepreneur or legal entity encounter when renewing the UKEP online?
It is no longer possible to do without a personal visit to the tax service to the authorized representatives of the Federal Tax Service Center if the UKEP was not issued by the Federal Tax Service or its validity period has expired.
The UKEP can be renewed only on the medium for which the Federal Tax Service certificate was originally received.
