Teacher's Day was celebrated in an unusual way in Tauride Chersonese

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In the Year of the Teacher and Mentor and on the eve of Teacher’s Day, the museum-reserve held an intellectual competition for schoolchildren. The guys took part in the “First Among the Best” quiz, answered questions, sang songs, and the winners won a gift for their favorite class teacher. The event was organized with the support of the My History Foundation.

During the quiz, the guys showed their knowledge in different areas. They answered questions about education in Ancient Greece, the history of Chersonesos and the Baptism of Rus’. The competition participants especially enjoyed guessing proverbs and objects hidden in the black box, and in the finale the guys sang songs about school. All the children performed well, so the fight for first place was very intense. As a result, the students of the 7th “B” grade of the Ecotech+ school turned out to be the most active and successful. They were the ones who scored the most points in the intellectual competition and won a prize for their teacher! — note the press service of the Tauride Chersonese Museum-Reserve.

We really enjoyed today’s game. We not only had fun, but also strengthened the team spirit of our class. I especially remember the questions about education in Sparta and Athens and about Prince Vladimir,” shared Nikolai Firsov, a student of the 7th “K” grade at the Ecotech+ school.

We remind you that the museum-reserve implements programs for children of all ages, which help teachers make lessons special, and schoolchildren learn history in a fun, interesting way and in the atmosphere of an ancient city.
