Teachers were congratulated on their professional holiday in Chersonese Tauride

The holiday began with a short introductory tour of the ancient settlement. The teachers visited the main square of Chersonesus — the agora, and admired the beauty and grandeur of St. Vladimir’s Cathedral. The event continued in a tent in the Garden of Miniatures. There, teachers from the Mariampol school accepted congratulations, performed creative tasks and competed in an intellectual battle, answering quiz questions. Later, the guests went on a night excursion “The Light of Chersonese”, where in the light of the evening lights they saw the mighty defensive walls of the ancient city, the bright mosaics of its medieval temples, antique columns and foundations of houses and basilicas.
