Technopark «IT Crimea» announces a meetup presentation on microelectronics from the startup studio «IT Garage»
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The IT Garage startup studio is one of the key areas of the Technopark, focusing on growing IT companies that create products needed by the Russian (and in the future, the international) market. The startup studio was created jointly with Sevastopol State University to support student technological entrepreneurship.
As part of the meetup, aspiring IT entrepreneurs will be able to learn from the CEO of the startup studio, Maria Tretyakova, about the criteria for a successful innovative idea. The startup studio has expertise and extensive experience in the technology field: its specialists carefully immerse themselves in the idea of the project, analyze the market, and compare available niches with the availability of relevant competencies.
Startups are conceived and implemented by people who vitally need to grow and develop. But to successfully implement your ideas, a great desire is not enough — you need skills and knowledge on how to create and develop a product, manage a team, and communicate with investors. This is exactly what a startup studio is for. We will share our experience of working with projects that are already in our portfolio, and also tell you how we can be useful to beginning entrepreneurs— said Maria Tretyakova.
The main IT areas that are considered the most promising at the moment: IT solutions for B2B, corporate application systems, artificial intelligence, system software, blockchain solutions for business, educational metaverses, unmanned aerial vehicles, and microelectronics.
Ivan Kravchenko, senior design engineer of systems on a chip (RISCY project), will talk about microelectronics using a specific example. According to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the open standard RISC-V, which underlies the startup RISCY, is among the TOP 10 breakthrough technologies of 2023. At the meetup, Ivan will address the following questions: how a microcircuit differs from a printed circuit board, what is inside it, what examples of digital and analog blocks exist, and how to go from an idea to a crystal.
Meetup presentation will pass December 11 at 19:00 in the PRO breakfast cafe, located on the territory of the IT Crimea Technopark.
