Technopark «IT Crimea» took part in Unifest. Energy of Achievement 4.0″

On October 7, the annual youth festival “UniFest” was held at the Sevastopol State University. Energy of Achievement 4.0”, within the framework of which a profession fair was organized. UniFest brought together about 6,000 students, schoolchildren and representatives of active youth from more than 50 regions of our country, as well as about 30 successful companies who spoke about the opportunities to work with them.

Representatives of the IT Crimea Technopark took part in the festival and told participants about promising IT areas and current vacancies. The children also had the opportunity to sign up for an excursion to the Technopark to personally see how actively developing IT companies in Sevastopol work, creating the Russian Silicon Valley. Technopark «IT Crimea» closely cooperates with Northern State University on the issues of training IT specialists and the development of student technological entrepreneurship. The technology park regularly conducts courses for students with subsequent employment, lectures and excursions, and accepts students for internships. Representatives of the Technopark regularly act as experts and trackers in the project work of SevSU students.

In 2022, Technopark acted as a partner in two acceleration programs on blockchain technologies and microelectronics, in which more than 1,000 SevSU students took part. Also in 2022, together with Northern State University, a startup studio “IT Garage” was created on the basis of the Technopark, the purpose of which is to grow technology startups with the involvement of students, graduates and employees of the University. The startup studio plans to support projects initiated by students, as well as involve them in projects that already exist and are developing. On September 28, the Technopark hosted the first meeting between the CEO of the startup studio, Maria Tretyakova, and the student recipients of the “Student Million” grants. During the meeting, Maria spoke about the tools for supporting startups, the infrastructure of the Technopark and the possibilities for the development of technology projects.

We plan to take part in all activities organized by the university. Any project is created by people, so the active development of the IT industry in our region directly depends on the development of human capital. We understand that success in our field of activity can only be achieved through the synergy of science, education and real business. The startup studio is already supporting several projects, the teams of which include students and graduates of Northern State University.
