Teenagers died in Crimea: on pit bikes and ATVs in a collision with a car

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Three teenagers, who were riding two pit bikes and an ATV, died as a result of a collision with a car in the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Republic of Crimea. Another teenager was injured and was hospitalized, it was reported. Telegram channel Regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As a result of the accident, two minor drivers of pit bikes and an ATV passenger received injuries incompatible with life. The driver of the ATV, born in 2007, was taken to a medical facility, — the message says.

The accident occurred on the Nizhnegorsky — Belogorsk road near the village of Kostochkovka. According to preliminary data from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the 28-year-old driver of a Skoda Octavia did not take into account the road situation and did not choose a safe speed, as a result of which he collided with two pit bikes and an ATV moving in the same direction.

The prosecutor of the Republic of Crimea, Oleg Kamshilov, took control of the inspection. As specified in Telegram channel departments, the deceased teenagers were born in 2006, 2007 and 2008. The prosecutor’s office will give its assessment of the compliance with the requirements of the legislation on road safety, including in terms of allowing teenagers to drive vehicles.
