Teleconference brought together schoolchildren from Simferopol and Tehran

CrimeaPRESS reports:

At the Crimean Republican Universal Scientific Library named after I. Franko, as part of the federal project “Historical Memory”, a teleconference “Tehran 43. The significance of the signing of a trilateral declaration for Russia and the world” took place.

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Bobkov, Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Igor Arzhantsev, employees of specialized structural divisions of the city administration, as well as students of Simferopol school No. 18 named after I.I. Bogatyrya and schoolchildren at the Russian Embassy in Iran.

80 years later, we understand how great the significance of the Tehran Conference is, both for the course and results of the Second World War, and for the post-war period for Russia and the world. In the modern world, when the world order developed as a result of three summits: Tehran — Yalta — Potsdam is collapsing, when the split between countries, peoples, and confessions is deepening, when threats to peace and all humanity are increasing, you are once again convinced that in the name of achieving peace, universal security, humane and universal goals, it is possible to overcome the barriers of alienation in relations between powers that have a different point of view,” emphasized Vitaly Bobkov.

The dialogue between the teleconference participants took place in the form of “question and answer”, both in Russian and English. The exchange of opinions, answers, clarification of little-known details of the preparation and holding of the Tehran Conference enlivened the meeting.

I watched with interest the videos prepared by students of the school at the Russian Embassy in Iran and the Simferopol school No. 18 named after I.I. Bogatyr. Each topic is another history lesson, an interesting excursion into the past, a search for new facts and historical information. I admire the interest of young people in history, political events taking place in the modern world, their knowledge and erudition in these matters,” shared Igor Arzhantsev.
