Last week, 9 accidents occurred on the roads of Sevastopol, in which 10 people received injuries of varying severity, including four minors: 1 pedestrian and 3 young passengers.
Traffic police officers revealed 319 administrative offenses, including 10 the driver drove the vehicle while intoxicated, 2 of which were repeated, for which criminal liability is provided. drivers violated the rules for driving a pedestrian crossing, 5 drove to oncoming lane in violation of traffic rules, 9 pedestrians crossed the carriageway in the wrong place , — reported in the State traffic inspectorate of Sevastopol.
This week, traffic inspectors will carry out preventive measures “Search”, “Carrier”, “Pedestrian crossing”, “Drunk driver” and “Overtaking”.
The traffic police reminded:
During 10 months of the current year, 472 was registered on the roads of Sevastopol Road accidents with victims in which 10 people died and 49 were injured. On the roads of the city there was 21 an accident associated with a collision with a pedestrian, in which 10 a person, 4 of them due to the fault of the drivers, 6 — due to their own negligence. Five pedestrians died in the dark, while on the roadway without retroreflective elements.
In addition, 7 people were killed in the clashes. The main reasons for such accidents were:
- non-observance of the order of travel, 578
- inconsistency of speed with specific traffic conditions,
- driving into oncoming lane and wrong choice of distance.
For 10 months on the roads of the city recorded 10 accidents with drivers, who showed signs of intoxication. In these accidents, 3 people died and 49 were injured.
The State Traffic Inspectorate calls on drivers and pedestrians to strictly comply with the requirements of the Rules of the Road, the neglect of which can lead to tragedy.
