Thanks to “umbrella” guarantees, Crimean business attracted 146 million rubles in credit funds

Since the beginning of the year, the Crimean Guarantee Fund has provided 6 “umbrella” guarantees in the amount of 23.2 million rubles, thanks to which Crimean entrepreneurs were able to attract 146 million rubles in the form of loans for business development, of which 66 million rubles for investments in fixed assets. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko.
The “umbrella” mechanism can be used to secure loans to small and medium-sized businesses for investment purposes, to replenish working capital, develop an enterprise or refinance a loan. The mechanism has existed since 2021 and is being implemented as a support measure within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises”, — the press service quotes Irina Kiviko.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, during the program, the Crimean Guarantee Fund has already participated in 41 transactions, within the framework of which it provided guarantees for loan agreements totaling 165.5 million rubles, which allowed entrepreneurs to attract more than 857 million rubles of borrowed funds from partner banks Crimean Guarantee Fund.
At the same time, by the end of the year, small and medium-sized businesses will be able to receive another 180 billion rubles, secured by “umbrella” guarantees thanks to the fact that the SME Corporation has provided funds to banks participating in the program to stimulate lending to SMEs, which includes Crimean banks.
