The 14th shift “We are more than me”, dedicated to legal literacy, started at Artek
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On December 6-7, the 14th shift “We are more than me” started at the International Children’s Center, which is dedicated to legal literacy, civic and personal responsibility. Almost two thousand schoolchildren from different regions of the country will take part in the Morskoy, Yantarny, Khrustalny, Lazurny, Cypress, and Rechnoy children’s camps. The shift will last until December 26-27 and will give everyone a New Year’s mood.
The 14th shift program is aimed at increasing Artek residents’ legal culture, active citizenship, sense of responsibility for decision-making and their actions, as well as instilling respect for the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland and the exploits of the Heroes of the Fatherland.
It is important to prepare a child for independent life in society, to instill in him the ability and skills to interact with others. All the variety of joint activities, combined with the traditions of Artek, the atmosphere of support and respect, will help the children realize the value of the team, joint work, and responsibility for each other. I am sure that the Artek way of life will serve as a new start for the development of schoolchildren’s self-awareness as future defenders of the Fatherland, creators, and guardians of the country. Together we are the strength of Artek, together we are the strength of the country– noted the director of the Artek MDC Konstantin Fedorenko.
The shift program will reflect the themes of the 2023 federal agenda. Schoolchildren will take part in the project “My Pedagogical Start”, in an exhibition of drawings based on the results of the competition “Teachers through the eyes of students”, the All-Russian action “Thank you, teacher!”, and the All-Russian project “Open Dialogue with a Mentor”. During the shift, teaching teams will work under the “Pedagogical Test” program. Children».
It is planned that Artek residents will participate in the events of the educational project “Without a Statute of Limitations”: an educational trip to the Memorial to the Victims of Fascism “Red Concentration Camp”, a meeting with participants of the Northern Military District, and the All-Russian military-patriotic action “I am writing to you, Hero!”
There will also be events under the auspices of the RDDM “Movement of the First”: schoolchildren will become participants in the All-Russian action “A Book to a Friend”, the All-Russian project “We are citizens of Russia!”
In anticipation of the most fabulous holiday of the year — the New Year — in the second half of the shift, all Artek residents will join a marathon of creative workshops and Santa Claus games. The Artek shift will be a source of New Year’s mood for every child at the children’s center, giving a lot of positivity, bright emotions and impressions.
The shift program includes patriotic, educational and motivational events, including a memory requiem dedicated to the heroes of Artek, commemorative events will be held, as well as a competition in the longread format (media project) “Heroes of our days”; on International Human Rights Day there will be debates, conversations, motivational meetings “I have the right to the right” and educational excursions to places of military glory in the hero city of Sevastopol; Artek residents together with the whole country will celebrate the Constitution Day of the Russian Federation and will take part in the traditional Motherland Day.
