The program of events for the 163 anniversary of the birth of the great writer Anton Chekhov is planned in the Crimean Literary and Art Memorial Museum-Reserve .
Everything will start today, 26 January in the Yalta House-Museum of A.P. Chekhov, where in 00: 00 there will be a broadcast of humorous stories of the classic performed by Honored Artist of Russia Yuri Golyshev.
16 January — on the writer’s birthday in : 00 there will be a traditional flower-laying ceremony at the monument to the playwright in Seaside Park.
In the memorial garden of Belaya Dacha from 11: 00 an open air will be organized with the participation of pupils of the Yalta Center for Children and Youth technical creativity, and a vernissage of children’s drawings will take place in the building of the museum’s literary exposition. At 14: 00 all guests will enjoy the festive concert “A.P. Chekhov and Music” by the laureate of international competitions Anna Kovaleva.
In the department «Chekhov and Crimea» at the dacha «Omyur» in 00: 00 pupils of the theater studio «Cherry garden» of the Center for the Development of Creativity for Children and Youth will perform works by Anton Chekhov.
At the dacha of A.P. Chekhov and O.L. Knipper in Gurzuf on this day at 11: 30 employees will tell visitors about the beginning of Anton Pavlovich’s creative path, and students of the Gurzuf art school will present a vernissage children’s drawings “A.P. Chekhov and Gurzuf.
