Simferopol police officers detained a suspect in the theft of things from a clothing store. Surveillance cameras helped law enforcement officers, the thief was quickly detained.

It turned out that the 56-year-old Simferopol resident, having entered the store, chose the things with which he entered the fitting room, removed the anti-theft tags from the windbreaker and shorts, and then left the store with the things. It is established that the man stole things for personal use.

The department of inquiry of police department No. 3 «Central» of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Simferopol initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Theft)— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

The sanction of this article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for up to two years. «Checked out» for the summer — will go «to the resort.»
