The Head of the Republic of Crimea took part in the opening of the VII Kurultai of Muslims of Crimea. In his welcoming speech, Sergei Aksyonov noted that the development of both the country and any region is impossible without interethnic consent.
Since 2014, a lot has been done in Crimea in this vein. This is the merit of all residents of the republic, and the leaders of religious organizations and national societies. The established Interfaith Council “Peace is a Gift of God”, the founders of which are the respected Mufti Emirali Ablaev and Bishop Lazar, also serves as a tool for strengthening the unity of all nationalities living in the territory of the republic– the press service quotes the Head of Crimea.
Sergei Aksyonov thanked Emirali Efendi and those who serve in the SUMK for the help and support of the President, humanitarian assistance to military personnel who are members of the Northern Military District, as well as for caring about ordinary people.

During his speech, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov noted the advantage of the unity of all peoples of the Republic of Crimea.
The delegates of the Kurultai also made speeches; based on the results of the discussions, a number of decisions were made.
