The acceptance of applications for the All -Russian photo contest «Crimea in my heart» started

The photo contest is dedicated to the next anniversary of the reunification of Crimea with Russia. Professional photographers and amateurs are invited to participate who shoot about rest and life in the Crimea, favorite places, nature and cultural and historical attractions of the peninsula.

Our competition becomes annual. Its main idea is to show the stories of residents and guests of Crimea through photos, which shows a love of the peninsula, its rapid development over these 11 years, the wealth and diversity of cultural heritage, nature and human potential of the Russian Crimea— notes the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic Sergey Ganziy, whose words were brought in the ministry.

Experts will choose four winners in two categories in two nominations: professional and amateur photos in the nominations “I and Crimea” and “From Crimea with Love”. The winner of the special nomination “Folk Choice” will be determined by Internet voting on VKontakte.

The competitive committee formed from representatives of Crimea Ministry of Crimea, the VK place project, the Tavrida artillery, as well as experts, art historians, chief media editors, professional photographers and bloggers will evaluate. The Chairman of the Committee is the general director of the TASS news agency Andrei Kondrashov.

Our photo contest takes place in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, and the heroism of the defenders of the peninsula during the war years is an example of courage and military valor, which the whole country is proud of. It is also proud of the power of the modern generation of Crimeans, who 11 years ago defended an inextricable connection with their homeland, and today, with their labor, they turned Crimea into a symbol of development and unity of Russia. TASS covers in detail the successes of the region, talks about how new growth points are created in it, modern spaces for work and recreation are opened. Annually, the peninsula attracts travelers from all over Russia. And our competition is an attempt to give a visual answer to the question: why for millions of people Crimea has become a place of power, where the past, present and future merge together— quoted at the Ministry of Condrashov.

Oleg Kryuchkov, Deputy Chairman of the Competition Committee, general producer of the Crimea TRK “Crimea”, noted that bright, emotional and original work awaits with interest.

We have not only a warm sea and beautiful mountains, here the concentrated history of patriotism and military glory of Russia. And we are proud that the initiators of tectonic shifts, to which the Crimean spring led to the initiators— he emphasizes.

The collection of applications and photographs will last until March 2, 2025 inclusive. The best works will be presented at photo exhibitions in Moscow and in Simferopol.
