The action “Beware of motorcyclists” will take place in Simferopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In order to prevent road accidents involving drivers of two-wheeled vehicles, the “Beware of Motorcyclist” campaign will be held in the Republic of Crimea. The traditional venue will remain unchanged. The event will take place near the railway station and will unite motorcyclists from different parts of Crimea and Sevastopol. In order to attract the attention of drivers to the appearance of motorcyclists on the road, representatives of the driving school will prepare thematic banners “We are also welcome at home! Look in the mirrors! Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate will distribute leaflets “Head to everything” to motorcyclists and patriotic stickers to vehicle drivers,” noted the press service of the Simferopol administration.

The traffic police calls on all motorists and participants of the action to strictly comply with all traffic rules:

  • do not exceed speed;
  • maintain lateral spacing and distance from other vehicles;
  • do not drive into oncoming traffic;
  • Do not try to pass between nearby vehicles in heavy traffic.

And also all drivers of categories A and A1 are required to use protective equipment, in particular:

  • helmet;
  • gloves;
  • knee pads;
  • elbow pads;
  • shin protection;
  • back protection;
