At the stadium of the sports and recreation complex named after the 200th anniversary of Sevastopol, an action of the All-Russian physical culture and sports complex “Ready for work and defense” was held under the name “From the TRP badge to the Olympic medal”. The event was held as part of the preventive action «Sevastopol without drugs», timed to coincide with the International Day against Drug Addiction and Illicit Drug Trafficking.
It was a great sports festival with a relay race for teams and demonstration performances of athletes and dance groups. The site of the TRP Testing Center worked at the event. All participants could get advice on registering on the site, as well as submit documents and try their hand— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the department for youth and sports, Sergei Reznichenko.
The participants went through the stages of the TRP relay for a while in the following tests: flexibility exercise — tilt, long jump from a place, lifting the body from a supine position — press, as well as flexion and extension of the arms in an emphasis lying on the floor — push-ups.
A mobile office functioned at the stadium with the ability to register in the automated information system of the TRP and get your unique identification number, try to pass the mandatory standards. The most successful attempts were included in the TRP protocol.
Also, within the framework of the action, the winners and prize-winners of the regional stage of the TRP festival among students were awarded.
Additionally, participants and guests of the action tried their hand at the drawing competition for the best thematic logo of the event, saw demonstration performances of sambo athletes and took part in a master class.

The event was held with the aim of popularizing physical culture and sports among the population and achieving the goals of the regional project «Sport is the norm of life» of the national project «Demography».
