The administration of Simferopol answered the question when the heating season will begin

Deputy Head of the Department of Municipal Services of the Administration of Simferopol Emin Nabiev spoke about preparations for the start of the heating season in the Crimean capital. According to him, the readiness of the housing stock today is 100%.

In total, on the territory of the municipality of the Simferopol urban district there are 2,623 apartment buildings. Of these, 1,410 are heated via central heating.

Preparation for the heating season involves performing a number of mandatory measures, starting from restoring the glazing of an apartment building. If there is broken glass in common areas, this all changes; doors must close tightly. Next, the presence of leaks on the roof is checked and the blind areas are sealed. That is, the work of preparing a house for the heating season includes a lot of activities that, at first glance, are not related to the heat the house receives. At the same time, they are very important for maintaining a balance of energy efficiency of the facility that will receive heatexplained Emin Nabiev.

He also added that heating will be turned on if the average daily temperature is no higher than +8 degrees Celsius. Please note that at the start of the heating season, the organization providing heat supply, by law, has 2 weeks for commissioning and startup of all its boiler houses.

In order of priority, of course, first of all are social facilities, such as healthcare and educational institutions. Next are apartment buildings and other heat recipientsnoted the official.

By the way, weather forecasters promise a fairly warm and comfortable October in Crimea with an average daily temperature from +12 C to + 18 C. So the radiators in the apartments of Simferopol residents will probably only get warmer in November.
