The All-Russian action “Save the Forest” continues in Crimea

The All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest” continues in the Republic of Crimea. According to the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic of Crimea, from November 7 to November 10, more than 66 thousand saplings and seedlings of green ash and pedunculate oak were planted.
On November 7, employees of the State Autonomous Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Simferopol Forestry and Hunting Estate”, together with volunteers, planted near the village. Beloglinka 679 green ash seedlings. On the territory of the State Autonomous Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Bakhchisarai Forestry» pedunculate oak was planted on an area of 3.8 hectares in the amount of 25.3 thousand— said the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Crimea.
On November 8, more than 22 thousand ash and oak seedlings were planted on the territory of Simferopol and Starokrymsky forestries on a total area of 12.1 hectares. Representatives of the district administration, employees of forestry institutions, as well as volunteers took part in the action.
Near the village Marine workers of the State Autonomous Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Sudak Forestry and Hunting Estate”, together with local residents, planted 7 thousand Crimean pine seedlings on an area of 6 hectares.
On November 9, employees of the State Autonomous Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Simferopol Forestry and Hunting Estate” planted 9.3 thousand green ash seedlings on an area of 2.8 hectares on the territory of the Partizansky district forestry. On November 10, employees of the State Autonomous Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Simferopol Forestry and Hunting Estate” planted 2 thousand ash seedlings on the territory of the Partizansky district forestry on an area of 0.8 hectares— transferred to the Ministry of Natural Resources.
The “Save the Forest” campaign is taking place within the framework of the regional project “Forest Conservation” of the national project “Ecology”.
