The All-Russian Employment Fair took place in Sevastopol

In Sevastopol, as part of the regional stage of the All-Russian Employment Fair, more than 600 vacancies were offered to job seekers.

Starting this year, the employment fair, on behalf of the President, has become an annual event. This is an effective tool for hiring the necessary workers both in your region and beyond. Last year, about 500 Sevastopol residents found work. Expectations from the regional and federal stages of the event this year are no less– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the Deputy Governor of Sevastopol Alexander Kulagin.

Vacancies with a salary of up to 100 thousand rubles were presented by 13 large enterprises of the city. Among them is Sevelektroavtotrans im. A. S. Krupoderova», «Vodokanal», Balaklava Mining Administration, City Hospital No. 1, Sevastopol Marine Plant, 13th Ship Repair Plant of the Black Sea Fleet and others.

The leader in reported vacancies was the enterprise of the military-industrial complex — the 13th ship repair plant, which provided 81 vacancies. These include engineering specialties in various areas of shipbuilding and ship repair with a salary of over 80 thousand rubles.

The fair venues in Sevastopol were the Sevastopol Employment Center and the Sevelektroavtotrans im. A. S. Krupoderova.” In total, about 400 people visited them.

At the Employment Center site, applicants could get acquainted with the work of enterprises and undergo interviews. They were also offered retraining opportunities, relocation support and vocational testing.

In addition, anyone could join master classes on applying designs to fabric, making souvenirs and photography. They were conducted by individual entrepreneurs Victoria Shubina, Elena Dmitruk and Yulia Makarenko, who opened their own business with the support of the employment service.

At the second site of the fair, at Sevelektroavtotrans im. A. S. Krupoderova”, for students of the Sevastopol Multidisciplinary College named after. A.V. Gelovani, employees of the enterprise conducted a professional excursion. Then the guys rode on a themed trolleybus along the route of especially significant enterprises of the city. During the trip, they were told about the most promising industries for further employment and the most in-demand professions.

Also today, in honor of the All-Russian Employment Fair, a special thematic day was held at the Sevastopol stand at the “Russia” exhibition at VDNKh in Moscow. Specialists from the Sevastopol Employment Center presented at their stand the most relevant and in-demand vacancies for our city. Visitors could get acquainted with employment offers and choose a suitable job option in Sevastopol.

Let us remind you that the All-Russian Employment Fair is taking place for the second year and is part of the national project “Demography”, initiated by the President of Russia. As part of the national project, Sevastopol is also modernizing the employment service.
